6 shades of gray
After a month of being stuck in harbor because of ice we finally managed
to cast off. Weather promised to be mild and almost no wind – and grey.
Anyway it still felt great to leave mooring. We spent the weekend in Kalvsund,
a small island 5nm W Gothenburg.
Downtown Björkö we met a retired fisherman who shared interesting stories
about past and present conditions making a a living at sea. We also enjoyed a
recently established pub where the owners demonstrated Guiness innovation
– ultra sound treated stout!
Finally – we greeted a couple of Linderö pigs – an old local breed living in harmony
and really enjoying visits.
Cheers!
