New Year in Brazil

Together with our sailing friends Rodrigo, Corina, Fabian and Joseanne who we met in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, and in Mindelo, Cape Verde, we headed off to the nearby beach to experience the Brazilian New Year celebrations. The Atlantic coastline beach is close to 10 km long and litterary everywhere small to huge parties had set up their tables, chairs, coolers etc. Many mobile food and or drinks stands to choose from. As mentioned before Brazilians love music so almost each group had big loudspeakers. Capirinha drinks could be had everywhere and we had a great night out.
